In screenshots from a new video purportedly released by the Islamic State titled "Battle to Avenge the Arrest of Muhajirat Sisters," ISIS militants in "Wilayat Khorasan," Afghanistan show an attack on Afghan National Army soldiers before committing brutal executions. The title refers to the "Muhajir people." "Muhajir" is an Arabic term to describe a person who emigrates from a non-Muslim country to a Muslim country. It usually refers to Muslim emigrants who left Hindu majority India for the newly formed Pakistan during or after the 1947 Partition. Parts of Pakistan are also claimed by the so-called Islamic State for the occupied territory known as "Wilayat Khorasan."
