ALDIE AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Jawaher Pl., 26000 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 22. Building materials were stolen from a construction site.

Laughter Dr., 25000 block, 10 a.m. Feb. 28 to 9 p.m. March 2. A check was stolen from a mailbox. The check was altered and cashed.

Zircon Dr., 42000 block, 11 a.m. Feb. 28. A check was stolen from a mailbox. Payment on the check was stopped before it could be cashed.

ASHBURN AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alexandras Grove Dr., 20000 block, Feb. 4 to Feb. 11. A check was stolen from a mailbox. The check was altered and cashed.

Cripple Creek Sq., 21000 block, 8 p.m. March 1 to 7:30 a.m. March 2. Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Merrywood Ct., 33000 block, 2:20 a.m. March 2. A vehicle’s interior was ransacked.

Micham Sq., 43000 block, March 1. Personal information was used to file a fraudulent tax return online.

Mossy Glen Terr., 21000 block, 7:30 p.m. March 1 to 9:15 a.m. March 2. Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Pandora Ct., 44000 block, March 1 to March 2. An unlocked vehicle’s interior was ransacked. Nothing was reported stolen.

Redeemer Terr., 42000 block, 11:49 p.m. Feb. 24. A bicycle was stolen from a yard.

Stonemont Cir., 42000 block, 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 27. Bathroom faucets were stolen from a construction site.

ROBBERIES

Ashburn Shopping Plaza, 44000 block, 6 p.m. March 2. A man in a parking lot was robbed of a wallet.

Glasgow Heights Terr., 24900 block, noon March 1. Building materials were stolen.

Hampton Rd., 16300 block, 8:54 p.m. Feb. 28. A mailbox was damaged at a residence.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Davis Dr., 200 block, 12:50 to 1:20 p.m. March 2. A rifle was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Monocacy Cq., 46300 block, 7:30 a.m. March 1. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle. An attempt was made to use a credit card from the wallet at a grocery store.

Upton St. N., 900 block, 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 2. A gun, cash, medication, jewelry and video games were stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Pebble Run Plaza, 23000 block, March 1 to March 2. Tires on two vehicles were damaged.
